Port Elizabeth police are investigating the murder of an 12-year-old boy whose body was found at a dump site in Missionvale on Monday morning.
Police spokesperson, Colonel Priscilla Naidu, said Eugene Commons had visible injuries around his neck as well as burn marks on his face and stomach.
She said he was last seen with friends late on Sunday afternoon.
Naidu said a post mortem will determine the exact cause of death.
