Body of missing Grahamstown child found near pond

 An 8 year old boy from Grahamstown who has been missing since Saturday has been found.

Police Spokesperson Captain Milinda Coetzer says his body was found at the Matthews Street pond, situated roughly a kilometre from his home.

It is alleged that the child might have drowned but a post mortem will have to confirm this.

The child left his home on Saturday to play with friends when his mom went to work and was not seen again.
