The body of a 10-year-old boy from East London has washed up at Nahoon River following a suspected drowning incident.
Amila Kawa from Cambridge location was reported missing last week after he went swimming with his friends in a nearby dam that leads into the river.
Police spokesperson, Captain Mluleki Mbi, said the body of the Gcobani Primary School learner was discovered on Saturday, four days after he was reported missing.
He said an inquest docket has been opened.
