Body of missing boy found at St Francis Bay

The National Sea Rescue Institute has confirmed that the body of a 12-year-old boy, missing in the surf since Friday, has been found.

NSRI St Francis Bay station commander, Sarah Smith says the body of the local boy was located on the beach at Main Beach, and recovered by the SA Police Services late on Saturday.

She says the body has been taken into the care of the Forensic Pathology Service.

Police have opened an inquest docket.
