The Police in Port Elizabeth is investigating a case of murder after the body of a man was found lying in a street in Booysens Park.
Spokesperson Colonel Priscilla Naidu says the 26-year-old Thanduxolo Mane from Polar park was shot in the head.
The motive for the murder is unknown and will be investigated by the Provincial Gang Investigation Unit.
Meanwhile, a 30-year-old man will appear in court tomorrow following his arrest on Saturday on a charge of attempted murder.
Naidu says on Saturday afternoon the suspect and two of his friends fired shots at a 24-year-old man and his friend. The gang unit heard the gunfire and responded immediately. they saw the one suspect running and made an arrest.
