A 25-year-old man was killed after the taxi he was travelling in overturned in Target Kloof in Port Elizabeth.
Naidu says the driver of a Toyota Quantum lost control and overturned shortly after 9pm on Saturday night.
According to reports the taxi was travelling from Brickmakerskloof towards the Walmer area when it lost control in Target Kloof
She says the driver fled the scene and has not been arrested yet.
Police are investigating a case of culpable homicide and reckless and negligent driving.
