Graaff-Reinet police have arrested a man for the murder of a woman whose body was found wrapped in a blanket outside her house in Santaville on Sunday morning.
Police Captain, Bradley Rawlinson, identified the victim as 63-year-old Juliane Lukas.
He said police immediately responded to information and arrested a 32 year old man in Santaville and also recovered property that belonged to the victim.
Rawlinson said there no visible injuries on Lukas' body and a post mortem will determine the exact cause of death.
He said the suspect will appear in Graaff-Reinet Magistrates Court on Monday 4 November 2019
