East London police have opened an inquest docket after the body of a man was found in the harbour.
Police spokesperson, captain Steven Marais, says the man's body was found floating in the water near the dry dock.
He says the identity of the victim, believed to be in his late thirties or early forties, is not yet known.
No foul play is suspected.
