The bodies of two men, who fell into a river at Vensterhoek farm near Patensie during the recent flooding, have been recovered.
Warrant Officer Gerda Swart says the body of 25-year old Mzukisi Gxekwa, was retrieved by police divers from a river near Milton while the body of 60-year-old Daniel Mbeki was also successfully recovered near Hankey.
She says the two allegedly fell into the water while trying to cross the river on August 5.
