Biker killed on N2-offramp- passenger hospitalized

Police in Gqeberha are investigating a case of culpable homicide after a fatal motorbike accident on the N2 off-ramp near John Tallant in Deal Party.

Spokesperson, Colonel Priscilla Naidu, says it is alleged that the driver of the motorcycle lost control of his bike just after half-past eight on Sunday evening.

Naidu says he was identified as Zuko Mdo from Coega Village and is believed to have died on impact after colliding into the railing on the side of the road.

She says Mdo's passenger, an unidentified man was taken to hospital for treatment.

Mdo's age is not known at this stage.
