A young motorcyclist from George who was killed when he collided with the back of a vehicle has been identified.
Spokesperson Captain Malcolm Pojie says 24-year-old Ruhan Wolmarans was declared dead at the accident scene on Saturday in Courtenay Street.
According to a post on Facebook, Wolmarans was a father and husband to be.
He says the driver of the car was arrested for drunk driving and later released on a warning.
A case of culpable homicide is under investigation.
The 24-year-old motorist has not yet appeared in court.
