Gqeberha murder accused, 55-year-old Arnold Terblanche, has lost another bail application.
The businessman and father has been in custody for six months.
Magistrate Kriben Pillay dismissed the application in the Gqeberha Magistrates Court on Monday saying the defence presented no new facts.
He added that some of the information presented as new facts were made available during the first bail application.
In January Magistrate Pillay denied Terblanche's first bid for bail, stating that the State had a strong prima facie case against him and he found a likelihood that Arnold will evade his trial if released on bail.
Terblanche appealed this in the Gqeberha High Court where Judge Glen Goosen shared the sentiments of Pillay.
Goosen said the state has a reasonable likelihood of succeeding and that it must be accepted that Arnold faces a very real prospect of a lengthy sentence.
He is accused of orchestrating the murder of his estranged wife, Vicki, whose body was found in a shallow grave in Greenbushes last year.
The matter was postponed to the 12th of July, when Terblanche will be back in the dock with co-accused, Reinhardt Leach and Dylan Cullis, who both abandoned their bids for bail.
