Eastern Cape police have arrested three suspects and recovered dagga with an estimated street value of more than a million rand.
Provincial police spokesperson, major Ernest Sigobe, says the suspects were arrested by border police and members of the SA National Defence Force.
He says police found more than 30 bags of dagga, weighing more than ton, in two vehicles that were stopped near the Ramatsililo border with Lesotho this morning.
Sigobe says the suspects were en route to the Western Cape.
They will appear in court in the Maluti Magistrate's court on Thursday on charges of dealing in dagga.
