Western Cape police have confiscated drugs worth more than R1million in Beaufort West.
Spokesperson, Sergeant Christopher Spies says Central Karoo K9 members conducted a vehicle checkpoint in the town on Friday when they stopped a truck.
He says their trained narcotic police dog, Bruno, reacted positively to a box inside the vehicle.
Police found 10 bags with 10 000 mandrax tablets and 10 boxes of Khat.
The two occupants, aged 24 and 37, were arrested and are expected to appear in the Beaufort West Magistrate's Court on Monday.
