A 29-year-old woman from Wells Estate in Gqeberha is in police custody after she allegedly killed her boyfriend.
Police spokesperson Captain Gerda Swart says the suspect and her 38-year-old boyfriend argued in the early hours of Saturday morning at a residence in Debe Street.
She says it is alleged that the woman grabbed a knife before stabbing her boyfriend in the neck.
The victim died on the scene.
Swart says the suspect was arrested at the crime scene.
She is expected to appear in the Motherwell Magistrates Court on Monday on a charge of murder.
The name of the victim is being withheld until his next of kin is informed.
