Eastern Cape authorities are still searching for five missing people in the Bashe River at Ngcobo.
Heavy weekend rain left the river in spate, forcing police divers to call off the search on Sunday.
Police Spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Mzukisi Fatyela says the current condition is still too dangerous to continue and divers cannot resume the search.
The Police's K9 unit and horses from the mountain unit are currently in the water with a small boat .
The bodies of two men-including the driver were found yesterday while four others who survived were taken to hospital
The five missing are four adults, including a three-year-old girl.
