 Eastern Cape police are investigating a robbery at a financial institution in Misgund in the Langkloof.

Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Gerda Swart says the robbery occurred at around 11 o'clock.

Swart says at this stage she cannot confirm the number of suspects involved as investigations are still underway.


"I can confirm at this stage that we are investigating a robbery at a financial institution in Misgund. I cannot confirm which institution and we are following up leads" she said.
