The bail application of the 31-year-old Zimbabwean national charged with culpable homicide was on Wednesday postponed in the Port Elizabeth Magistrates court yet again.
Kelvin Zirema, a qualified helicopter pilot, is also being charged with drunk, reckless and negligent driving relating to the accident which resulted in the death of a 36-year-old Nigerian pedestrian, Anthony Agbo on Beachroad, Summerstrand earlier this month.
Another pedestrian, a 26-year-old woman from Zwide, was also critically injured and lost her left leg in the accident.
Zirema is facing additional charges of defeating the ends of Justice and being in the contravention of the Immigration Act.
His legal representative Advocate Hannelie Bakker was unavailable for Court due to the fact that she had another case to attend to at the High Court.
Even though the accused was represented in Court, Magistrate Xolisa Dlolisa asked for the matter to be postponed to the 7th of June.
It also came out in court that Zirema's blood alcohol test results were not available yet.
Zirema's friends have come out in full support and have been to all his court appearances.
