 Police in Tarkastad are searching for three men who robbed a local store at gunpoint on Monday night.

Police Spokesperson Warrant officer Stone says the men approached the victim as he was busy off-loading stock and ordered him to go back inside.

The men stole goods to the value of just under R15 000 which included cash, airtime vouchers and cigarettes.

Stone says one shot was fired during the robbery but thankfully nobody was injured.
