Armed robbery at Sydenham primary school, PE

Port Elizabeth police are looking for three gunmen who robbed Sydenham Primary School this morning.

Police spokesperson, Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg, says the robbers threatened staff and locked them in an office.

They gained access to the safe in the principal's office and made off with an substantial, but undisclosed amount of cash.

No-one was injured and no shots were fired.
