Humewood police detectives are searching for three suspects who robbed the Post Office in Summerstrand on Tuesday morning.
Colonel Priscilla Naidu says an unknown man entered the post office around 9 am and made enquiries about motor vehicle's license renewal.
Another man walked in moments later and pointed a firearm at the cashier as a third suspect then joined them.
Colonel Naidu says an undisclosed amount of cash, the cashier’s cellphone and vehicle license papers were taken.
The staff were left in the toilet before the suspects fled in a silver Nissan Almera.
No one was injured in the incident and a case of business robbery is under investigation.
