Armed robbery at Post Office in Dana Bay

Police in the Garden Route are investigating an armed robbery at the Post Office in Dana Bay near Mossel Bay on Wednesday morning.

Police Spokesperson Sergeant Kappie Kapp says three armed men entered the Post Office at around 8 am and overpowered a 43-year-old employee.

He says the suspects then gained access to the safe and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash in the employee's car.

The vehicle was later found abandoned on Louise Fourie Road.

The three suspects are still at large.
