Police are urging businesses and the public to be vigilant, as armed robberies are increasing at this time of the year.
This follows and armed robbery at petrol station in Da Gama Street in Jeffrey's Bay on Saturday.
Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Basil Seekoei says it is alleged that a suspect, armed with a firearm and pepper spray, entered the shop and ordered the staff to lie on the floor.
He says the suspect demanded cash from the cashier, and fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
