Port Elizabeth police are searching for two gunmen who robbed an Engen Garage in Govan Mbeki Avenue on Monday morning.
Police spokesperson, Captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg, says the two were seen hanging around before security personnel arrived to collect the weekend takings.
She says when the security guard removed a cash bag, he was threatened with a fire-arm and ordered to hand over the bag and his fire arm .
Janse Van Rensburg says the suspects fled in a black VW Polo.
