Police in Kabega Park are seeking the community’s assistance in identifying a man whose decomposed body was found at Eagles Nest in Rocklands at the weekend.
Spokesperson, Colonel Priscilla Naidu, says members responded to the complaint of an unknown person lying on his back next to the gravel road before 8 pm on Saturday.
She says he was wearing blue denim jeans, a white t-shirt, a navy blue and red jacket with a hoodie and a black belt. A brown shoe was on his foot while the other shoe was lying about one metre away.
The man had also sustained bruises on his legs and due to the decomposition, his race could not be determined.
Anyone who can assist police in identifying the deceased or can assist in tracing his next of kin is urged to contact the police.
