Members of Uitenhage's K9 unit have arrested a man from Hankey on a charge of dealing in dagga.
Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Gerda Swart, says the 40-year-old man was arrested during a routine roadblock outside Uitenhage on Friday morning.
She says police stopped a Blue Bantam Bakkie and on closer inspection found several bags of dagga weighing 151 kilograms.
Swart says the dagga has a street value of around R300 000.
The suspect will appear in court soon on charges of dealing in dagga.
