The much-anticipated judgment in the two applications brought by Nigerian Pastor, Timothy Omotoso, has been postponed in the Port Elizabeth High Court.
The National Prosecuting Authority says the first application is on the unreasonable delay in terms of section 342A of the Criminal Procedure Act.
Spokesperson, Anelisa Ngcakani, says the second application was one for bail based on new facts.
She says the judgement will now be handed down on the 4th of November.
Omotoso was in contact with an official from the Port Elizabeth High Court who tested positive for Covid-19.
The court is currently closed and Omotoso placed in quarantine for 10 days.
The National Prosecuting Authority says it will now be handed down on 4 November.
Omotoso has been in custody since his arrest in April 2017 while his co-accused Lusanda Sulani and Zukiswa Sitho are out on bail.
