Port Elizabeth police are investigating a case of attempted murder following a shooting in Kobus Road in Helenvale.
Captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg, says a 31-year old man was walking out of his yard on Thursday afternoon when he was approached by three suspects, one of whom was armed.
She says several shots were fired - wounding the man in the arm and leg.
Janse van Rensburg says no arrests were made and police suspect the incident to be gang related.
Meanwhile, police are searching for two suspects following a fatal shooting in Bethelsdorp on Thursday.
Van Rensburg says a 36-year old man was waiting with a group of people for a taxi on the corner of Lawrence Erasmus Drive.
She says two armed suspects got out of a White VW Golf and fired several shots at the man who died at the scene.
It is also believed to be a gang-related shooting.
