George police have confirmed that yet another vehicle has plunged down the notorious cliff at Voëlklip near Herold's Bay.Police spokesperson Captain Malcolm Pojie says police and emergency services are at the scene.
Pojie says it is unknown when the incident took place.
The George Herald reported that pieces of a white vehicle were found at the top of the cliff and that one person is lying on the rocks at the bottom while the wreck of the car is also visible in the water.
At least eight people have died in the past four years at Voëlklip, a popular picnic and fishing spot.
On October a George resident Heidi Scheepers' vehicle also plummeted over the cliff, killing her and her two children.
On the 4th of December 2019, a 52-year-old woman was killed when her red Chevrolet Spark went over the cliff.
