Anglo Boer War statue in EL defaced

Another Colonial era statue has been defaced. 

This time the Anglo Boer War Statue in front of East London city hall has been damaged. 

The statue of a soldier on his horse has been daubed in white paint which also lies splattered on the ground at the base of the memorial. 

East London police say they're aware of the incident and are looking into the matter.
