Convicted George dentist arrested on similar charges

A 44-year old dentist from George that specialises in the medical industry will appear in the George Magistrate Court on Monday after he was arrested last week by the George Family Violence and Sexual offenses unit. 

The suspect was found guilty on a charge of rape involving a minor in September last year and was sentenced to four years' house arrest.

Algoa FM News cannot identify the suspect yet as he has not yet pleaded in court. He was arrested on Friday on a different charge and remained in custody over the weekend.
