The ANC in the Eastern Cape will hold its seventh provincial conference in Nelson Mandela Bay this week.
Registration of delegates begins on Wednesday and ANC secretary-general, Gwede Mantashe, will officially open the conference on Thursday morning.
ANC provincial spokesperson, Oscar Mabuyana, says one of the key issues will be to examine how to stabilise the party in the Eastern Cape.
He also outlined another key conference imperative.
"We will definitely go all out and inspire hope for our people in the province and that the ANC remains a relevant organisation and that we can change their lives for the better", he said.
