The ANC will lead a march of local residents from Brackenhill to the offices of the Western Cape Education Department on Wednesday.
That's to protest the proposed closure of the Redslands Primary School, which is one of 27 schools mooted to be closed by the Western Cape Education Department.
ANC southern cape spokesperson, Putco Mapitiza, says members of teacher's union Sadtu as well as local residents will join the march where a memorandum will be presented to officials.
Western Cape Education Minister, Donald Grant, has yet to make a decision on the closure of the schools which has sparked outrage in the province.
