The ANC in the Eastern Cape is expected to read the riot act to all its councillors at a meeting in East London on Monday.
The ruling party has summoned its councillors from all 43 municipalities in the province to the meeting to thrash out the challenges caused by ongoing in-fighting in municipalities that has led to service delivery problems.
ANC provincial secretary, Oscar Mabuyane, says Local Government MEC, Mlibo Qoboshiyane, will also present a report on the challenges facing local government in the province.
ANC alliance partners will also be attending the session at the East London International Convention Centre.
