The ANC Youth League in the Eastern Cape claims that the provincial leadership has dissolved the OR Tambo regional conference without announcing election results.
ANC Youth League provincial spokesperson, Nkosinathi Nomatiti, says the Provincial Executive Committee dissolved the conference last night saying that they think some sort of fraud had taken place in the vote.
He claims this was a ruse because the ANC provincial executive had a pre-determined outcome in mind, and when it did not happen they came up with the fraud story.
According to reports on Tuesday the electoral commission at the conference had discovered that votes were cast by 591 delegates, instead of the 587 adopted by the plenary on Monday.
