ANC councillors back in court Wednesday

Two ANC councillors in Nelson Mandela Bay are due back in court on Wednesday.

Andile Lungisa and Gamalihleli Maqula have been charged in connection with a violent brawl in a council meeting last November.

A DA councillor was hit over the head with a water jug while another DA councillor was allegedly stabbed with a sharp object.

The two councillors face charges of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

The pair are out on bail.
