Alleged serial killer appears in a PE court

 An alleged serial killer is due to appear in court in Port Elizabeth on Monday on several charges of murder, rape and robbery with aggravating circumstances.

Police spokesperson, Thembi Gwe, says the state may also bring two more murder charges against the suspect, 30-year-old Zamuxolo Frank Hobongwana of Veeplaas in Port Elizabeth.

It is alleged that he killed five people in three incidents in December 2008.

He was arrested in George in 2010.
