The Port Elizabeth Commercial Crimes Court has granted bail to four suspects accused of stealing two million rands from Keens Wholesalers in North End.
The accused, of which two of them worked for the local wholesalers, allegedly defrauded the company out of millions of rands between 2017 and 2018.
According to the charge sheet, only Megan Brooks and Rochanda Lynn Leander were employed by the wholesaler and in charge of gathering invoices for payment and cash deposits.
The two stole from the wholesaler by deposited sums of money into two suppliers which were headed by Leroy Bezuidenhout, Brooks' boyfriend, and Lynn Leander's mother in law. Patricia Hendricks.
The four are facing multiple charges including fraud and theft.
