Two suspects, arrested in connection with the murder of an elderly nun in KZN, have abandoned their bail application in a Kwazulu Natal court.
The men aged 25 and 35 made a brief appearance in court on Wednesday.
Austrian-born Gertrud Tiefenbacher was found dead last month in her room at the Sacred Heart Home Convent.
The suspects are said to have tied-up the 86-year-old and suffocated her with a towel - before fleeing with some of her personal belongings - including the equivalent of R26 000 in foreign currency.
The case has been adjourned to Friday.
