Two alleged hijackers will appear in separate courts in Port Elizabeth on Friday.
Police spokesperson, Colonel Priscilla Naidu, says the first hijacking occurred in Schauderville on Monday night.
She says the suspect was arrested later by members of Algoa Park police who spotted the hijacked vehicle.
Naidu says the second hijacking occurred in Kabega Park when a man was robbed of his mini-bus by three men.
The victim parked his mini-bus in his yard when he was accosted by armed men. They fled in his vehicle when they failed to get access to the house.
She says the men, who appeared to be unfamiliar with the area, were driving recklessly and eventually crashed into a police vehicle on patrol.
Naidu says one hijacker was arrested but the other two managed to get away.
