The alleged master-mind of a drug syndicate in East London has handed himself over to the police in the presence of his lawyer.
Police captain Stephen Marais says the 25 year-old Tanzanian will appear in court on Friday.
He already has a previous conviction for dealing in heroin for which he received a two year prison sentence - suspended for 5 years.
The investigation follows an incident in October in which four other Tanzanians were arrested for the possession of dagga worth half a million rands.
Marais says they'll strongly oppose bail at Friday's court proceedings.
