Alleged drug dealer to appear in Alexandria Court

A 34-year-old man from Port Alfred will appear in court in Alexandria on Monday after being found with drugs valued at more than 50-thousand rand.

Police spokesperson, Captain Andre' Beetge, says that the suspect was arrested at Nanaga in the early hours of Sunday morning.

He says police pulled over a green Mazda 323 found three bags in the boot of the man's car containing dagga and mandrax valued at more than 50-thousand rand.

He will be charged with dealing in drugs.
