All eyes will be on Port Elizabeth and Pretoria on Tuesday for the funeral of slain PE model Reeva Steenkamp and the court appearance of Oscar Pistorius, who's accused of shooting her four times in his Pretoria home last week.
Twenty-nine-year-old Steenkamp will be laid to rest in a private cremation service in Port Elizabeth on Tuesday, attending by family and friends.
Pistorius in turn, will be applying for bail in the Pretoria magistrate's court.
Oscar's lawyers could argue considering the Olympians disability it would not be conducive to keep him in trial awaiting cells and this is set to bring the poor state of South African prisons under scrutiny as in the case of Shrien Dewani's extradition hearing. The State which is opposing Oscar's bail application could argue considering how the murder accused sobbed while in the dock on Friday he could be a threat to himself and become suicidal, furthermore he could influence key state witnesses who obviously include his neighbours and possibly close friends of Reeva Steenkamp.
