Algoa bus strike continues.

The Algoa bus strike is still continuing as an attempt to resolve the on-going-strike failed on Wednesday.

The South African Transport and Allied Workers Union spokesperson, Honest Sinama told Algoa FM News that the Union met with Algoa bus management and the CCMA
but the negotiations reached a deadlock.

Sinama says the CCMA is trying to find a way forward to resolve the current situation.

The Algoa buses have been parked for 22 days now forcing thousands Nelson Mandela Bay commuters to use alternative transportation.

Earlier this week  Algoa bus company denied having a Facebook page where commuters were told that the strike would most likely continue until the end of the year.

CEO, Sicelo Duze told Algoa FM News that the company does not have a Facebook page.

This comes after several listeners notified Algoa FM News that the company had replied to a comment on Facebook, stating the strike would not end soon.

The page was deleted following the report from Algoa FM news.
