Algoa Bus denies having a Facebook page telling commuters the strike is far from over

Algoa bus company has denied having a Facebook page where commuters were told the strike would most likely continue until the end of the year.

CEO, Sicelo Duze told Algoa FM News that the company does not have a Facebook page.

This comes after several listeners notified Algoa FM News that the company had replied to a comment on Facebook, stating the strike would not end soon.

Meanwhile, Duze said the company's doors remained open to the Unions for negotiations.

South African Transport and Allied Workers' Union spokesperson, Honest Sinama says the Union is planning to meet with the other two striking Unions to find a common approach before meeting with Algoa Bus Company's management.
