Eastern Cape Aids Council Chairperson, MEC Helen Sauls-August has dismissed an Aids cure claim as a money making scheme that could derail government's progress in dealing with HIV and Aids.
It was reported over the weekend that an employee at the East London Magistrate's Court was selling, what he claimed, to be a cure for HIV and Aids for R350-00.
Sauls-August says its opportunistic for people to mislead poor people with untested medicine, claiming it can cure HIV and Aids.
She warned people not to fall prey to people who sell them medicines claiming to cure all illnesses.
