Police in Port Elizabeth are looking for two suspects who managed to disarm and rob an ADT security guard on Monday.
The 52-year-old security officer stopped to buy food at a shop in Ikamvelihle, shortly after 8 pm on Monday evening.
Police Spokesperson Colonel Priscilla Naidu says according to the guard, two men in a black VW Polo approached the shop and got out of their vehicle.
She says he was threatened with a firearm before being disarmed and stripped of his bulletproof jacket.
The guard was ordered to lie on the ground before his phone and keys to his vehicle were taken.
The men then drove off and are still at large.
