Administrator appointed to run the Mnquma Municipality in Butterworth

Eastern Cape Local Government MEC, Mlibo Qoboshiyane, has officially introduced Vuyo Zitumane as the administrator for the Mnquma Municipality in Butterworth.

Qoboshiyane says his Department will incur the cost of the administrator who's position and function will be reviewed in three months.

Among her functions, Zitumane will have to ensure that there is effective general administration within Mnquma Local Municipality.

She will also be required to ensure that Council meetings are convened in terms of the law and to facilitate and monitor the finalisation of disciplinary hearings of the suspended officials.
