Nelson Mandela Bay's acting chief financial officer, Selwyn Thys, will table a R664.8m adjustment budget on Wednesday.
He'll table the budget at a joint meeting of the Budget and Treasury and Mayoral committees.
Metro Minute reports that the increase in the Operating Budget is R190.3m and the capital budget increases by R474.5m.
Thys says in his report to the committee that the major contributor to the increase in the capital budget is the roll-over of unspent grant funding at the end of the last financial year.
He says some R340m of the unspent grant funding was for the Integrated Public Transport System and R58.7m was for Municipal Drought Relief.
