Addo toddler killed in freak accident

Eastern Cape police have opened an inquest docket, after a two-year-old girl died in a freak accident.

Police spokesperson, WO Gerda Swart says Julie-Ann Swartz was tragically killed on Saturday afternoon, while she was playing outside a house on the farm Selbourne near Addo.

She says the child allegedly walked past the house, when a wall collapsed and fell on her. 

Swart says Julie-Ann died at the scene.
